Addon domain

What is an addon domain?

An addon domain is, as its name implies, an additional domain name you can add to your hosting plan (if the plan you chose has additional slots as mentioned in our specifications under each hosting plan's information).

You can give an addon domain email addresses, forwarders, and more the same way you would to a primary (main) domain on the account.

When you create an Addon domain, under Domains:

-A folder is created in the root directory with the name of the domain name, unless you specify another path/name for the folder.
-A subdomain is created for the primary domain and attached to the new folder. Every addon domain will have a [addon].maindomain.com linked to the primary domain name, which can be used to preview websites as well.

To add an addon domain you need to log into cpanel -> click on Domains -> enter your domain at the top, and in the last field is the location of your document root.
