Creating a Subdomains

Subdomains are additional parts of your main domain name, used to organize and navigate different sections of your site. For example, you can create subdomains like blog.scalacoms.com or shop.scalacoms.com to separate different functionalities.

Steps to Create a Subdomain:

  1. Log into cPanel:

    • Navigate to the Domains section and click on “Create A New Domain”.

 

   

    2. Enter Subdomain Details:

  • Subdomain: Enter the desired subdomain (e.g., blog for blog.scalacoms.com).
  • Domain: Select the main domain (e.g., scalacoms.com).
  • Document Root: Specify the directory where the subdomain’s files will be stored.

     3. Save and Manage:

  • Click “Create” to add the subdomain.
  • Manage your subdomains through the cPanel interface, where you can update, delete, and configure settings.
